Youth Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFA)


The Cypress Resilience Project presents the Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). Sponsored by Contra Costa Behavioral Health Services (CCBHS), this FREE training will be offered virtually over two sessions. To become certified in MHFA, you must attend both dates. 

  • Wednesday, January 8, 9:00 - 11:30 AM  (Virtual) Part 1

  • Wednesday, January 15, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Virtual) Part 2

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited. If you register and space is available, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions to create your online account to complete your prework.

Mental Health First Aid is a professional certification conferred by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. The certificate lasts for three years and can be renewed easily online.

REQUIRED:

  • 2 hours of self-directed pre-work online

  • 5½ hours of classroom instruction on Zoom

  • Completed Quiz and Evaluation
