Strengthening Refugee Women’s Health Through Reproductive Health Literacy Training: Experiences from the Field

 

Women’s health is a human right. Yet, for many refugee women, reproductive healthcare remains overlooked and inaccessible due to stigma, misinformation, and systemic barriers. Addressing these challenges is critical to enhancing their well-being and autonomy. 

In honor of Women’s History Month, CIRH Academy brought together leading experts in reproductive health, Dr. Heike Thiel de Bocanegra, Dr. Ahmad Fahim Pirzada, and Asiya Yama.
