Welcome to the launch of CIRH Academy, an educational initiative dedicated to empowering professionals and organizations with the knowledge and tools to support immigrant and refugee communities.

What is the CIRH Academy?

CIRH Academy is designed to help health professionals and service providers bridge gaps in cultural understanding. In so doing, CIRH resources inclusive, practical tools and culturally tailored, evidenced-based training that assist not only service providers but immigrants and academic partners. Among Academy offerings are in-person workshops, webinars, and multilingual digital materials.

What to Expect from CIRH Academy

  • Health Education for Communities with community-focused workshops and resources to help immigrants and refugees understand preventive care, access available services, and know their rights within the healthcare system 

  • Cultural Competency Training for Providers with comprehensive training programs. CIRH Academy equips service providers with the cultural knowledge needed to achieve compassionate, effective care for immigrants and refugees
