Jasmin earned her Master of Social Work with a focus on strengthening organizations and communities from University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Farsi/Dari and has seven years of experience working with refugees, immigrants, and other forcibly displaced populations. She has worked across the continuum of care providing case management, psychosocial support, therapy, and advocacy. She is passionate about creating healing spaces for vulnerable populations that are community-driven, trauma-informed, and that honors the knowledge and wisdom of individuals and communities.
