Women’s Health

Women's health is essential to the well-being of displaced populations. Women, migrating alone and often with dependent children, face unique challenges and vulnerabilities that require targeted healthcare. Access to reproductive health services, maternal care, and family services support is crucial to addressing the specific needs of women displaced by conflict or other emergencies. Adequate care not only safeguards their physical health but pivotally empowers women to rebuild their lives, despite adversity. Additionally, promoting women's health in refugee communities fosters a sense of dignity and agency that contributes to a community’s overall resilience and stability.
