Kristin brings over 20 years of public health experience at the local, state, and national level to CIRH. Prior to CIRH, she held multiple positions working directly with communities as a health educator, outreach worker, communicable disease investigator and linkage to care coordinator and later transitioned to program management, administration, and advisory positions in a variety of public health organizations, such as the University of California, Contra Costa County, the California Department of Public Health, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The common thread in all of her previous roles has been serving the underserved or marginalized to obtain better health and well-being. Her career path is deeply rooted in her belief in equity, dignity and justice. Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and her Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
